Nutrition

Good nutrition is very important if you plan to have a long healthy and happy life.  What does that mean?  It means you must put into the body the things that are good for the body such as fruits, nuts (raw preferred), grains, legumes, seeds, vegetables, and herbs. Stay away from unhealthy fats, raw steak with blood in it.  It is toxic to your bloodstream.   Whatever disease the animal have you will get it.

 

Sugar (especially white sugar) in your diet leads to many illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, headaches, obesity, kidney disease, high blood pressure, uric acid and other diseases.  People become addicted to sugar and they do not realize it.  Sugar is one of the most dangerous things you can put in your body, including artificial sweeteners. 

 

If you must have something sweet in your diet, try natural sweeteners such as organic honey, maple syrup, agave, and other healthy sweeteners. 

 

Instead of reaching for unhealthy foods, reach for oranges instead.  Oranges are packed full of vitamin C, flavonoids (if you eat the white part just inside the skin (peel).  Oranges help to ward off colds and strengthens the immune system.  Vitamin C prevents scurvy which is very rare these days.  Protect your skin by eating oranges which help to fight against free radicals in the body.  Oranges are full of antioxidants which protects the cells in the body from being damaged.

 

If you are looking for a good way to add fiber to your diet, eating oranges will push the bulk waste from the body and clean your colon.  Eating foods that are acidic is dangerous to your body.  Cancer thrives in an acidic body, so adding oranges to your diet will help to alkalize the body and bring it into balance and harmony.  

 

If you are looking to add calcium to your diet, eat oranges.  Oranges have pectin and potassium which your body needs.  Oranges in any variety is an excellent additive to your diet.  Are you trying to lose weight?  Add oranges to your diet.  Need a quick pick-me-up, enjoy an orange or two.  Suffering from high blood pressure?  Add oranges to your diet.  Having vision problems?  How about some oranges to help improve your vision?

 

Eating oranges will boost your immune system and prevent kidney stones.

 

Lemons

 

Lemons are sour but are a wonderful addition to your diet.  They protect against diseases such as cancer.  They alkaline the body preventing diseases from entering the bloodstream, protecting the kidneys, liver and other internal organs.  When used with honey lemon help you to feel better if you have a cold.  Put lemon slices in purified water, let it sit for at least four hours then drink each day.  The lemon water will detox the body.  Make it a part of your lifestyle change to achieving good health.  

 

Lemons have vitamin C, iron, magnesium, copper, zinc, folate, vitamin B6, thiamin, vitamin A, E, B6 and other vitamins.  Trying to get rid of kidney stones?  Try a combination of lemon juice and extra virgin cold pressed olive oil on an empty stomach.    

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Coconuts are healthy including the coconut meat and coconut water.  Coconut water is a cool way of getting natural electrolytes in the body.

 

Having problems with your eyes?  Drink coconut water and eat the coconut meat.  If you have macular degeneration and other eye problems add coconut to your diet.  

 

 

Are you trying to lose weight?  Add coconut water to your diet.  Coconuts have minerals that are good for your body.  If you are looking for a drink with natural sugar, drink coconut water.  The coconut meat is a nice snack.  When the coconut meat is dried it is grated and used in rice, soups and other dishes.

Tomatoes

 

What can be said about tomatoes?  Tomatoes are good in helping to fight and prevent prostate cancer, colon cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer, stomach cancer and other forms of cancers. 

 

Tomatoes contain folate, potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, magnesium, phosphorous, copper, fiber, thiamin, protein and other vitamins.  If you are trying to lose weight, add tomatoes to your diet.  

 

Tomatoes are good for protecting your heart, liver, kidneys, stomach, your eyes help to protect you from free radicals that destroy your body.  Are you suffering from high blood pressure?  Add tomatoes to your diet.  Tomatoes help to prevent unary tract infections.
